Stop the Olympic Missiles
The Campaign
The 'Stop the Olympic Missiles' campaign was launched in East London at a public meeting on 4 May 2012. Activists have since then been protesting, campaigning and petitioning on the streets against the positioning of missiles in residential areas of London.
On 30 June 2012 at we held a demonstration in East London. Hundreds of residents marched from Wennington Park to Bow Quarter. See a round-up of the news coverage here.

A public meeting was held on 31st May 2012 at which it was unanimously voted to oppose the MoD plans. Read a report here.
